This teaching package, presented in modular form, has been designed specifically for Women’s Domestic Violence Court Assistance Program (WDVCAP) support workers. The WDVCAP, a New South Wales service which helps women experiencing domestic violence negotiate the legal process, saw a need for a resource which gives easily accessible and up-to-date information to support workers. The modules have been written for both new and more experienced support workers and with recognition of the National Competency Standards which were developed for those who come into professional contact with those affected by domestic violence.
