Research into violence in schools and the obligations of educational administrators and the government in preventing such violence is discussed and some approaches to prevention suggested. Specific strategies for preventing violence against young women are then examined. A list of community and government support/intervention agencies throughout Victoria is provided and some examples of workshop outlines and activities are presented.en
