| dc.description.notes | In this study, researchers from the NSW Bureau of Crime Statistics and Research interviewed 300 victims of domestic violence (DV) who attended DV services to investigate whether they had reported the violence to police, and why they had decided to report or not.<br/ ><br/ >The study found that nearly two-thirds (62.8%) of respondents had reported at least one previous incident of DV to police, while just over half (51.8%) had reported their most recent incident of DV to police.
