General Overview: This ACT Domestic Violence Prevention Council’s Annual Plan sets out its priority areas for 2005.
Objective: The Council was established to ‘reduce the incidence of domestic violence offences in the Australian Capital Territory’, with four strategic priorities.
Discussion: The plan sets out guiding principles. Priority areas include: liaison with government and non-government agencies; children and domestic violence; law reform; Indigenous family violence; community education; and resources.
