The second in a two-part series, this paper provides an analysis of statistical data obtained by the ABS Women’s Safety Survey with particular focus on factors associated with women’s choice to report violence to police and/or seek out and utilise available support services. The scarcity of research in each of these areas is highlighted and some recommendations for future research and service development are made.
