Notes:	Journal of the DVRC Inc. Discusses the format of the “Women Wise Up” conference, held recently at the University of New South Wales, Sydney. The conference focused on ‘demystifying’ the United Nations, the human rights system and international documents such as the Beijing Platform for Action. Suggest several websites of interest and argues that engaging in a human rights discourse and conceptualizing women’s issues around the 12 critical areas of concern identified in the BPFA is the way forward for the women’s movement.
