Data were collected from Women’s Domestic Violence Court Assistance Schemes, Wentworth Area Health Service, NSW Department of Community Services, NSW Criminal Court Statistics, Bureau of Crime Statistics & Research and the NSW Police Service during the period 1997-2001. Issues raised include the standardisation of data collection methods, presentation of data, monitoring of the collection process and the lack of data collected from both non-English speaking women and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women. | en |
