dc.description.notesReports on the 10th annual general meeting of the Southern Domestic Violence Action Group in August 2002 and the many achievements of the organisation since its inception. The group includes representatives from the following services: Noarlunga Health Services, Southern Women’s Community Health Centre, Southern Domestic Violence Service, City of Onkaparinga, Onkaparinga Information Service, Noarlunga and Aberfoyle Park FAYS, SA Housing Trust, the Child and Family Investigation Unit (SAPOL) and the Department of Human Services. Undertakings of the SDVAG include: development of the WAVES community education programme; production of a newsletter, ‘No-one Need Live in Fear’; obtaining funding for ‘Domestic Violence Information and Resource booklet’ for the Noarlunga, Mt Barker and Victor Harbour regions; and forming partnerships to produce culturally appropriate information on domestic violence for ethnic communities, such as the multicultural radio announcement project, ‘Violence in the home has many forms’.en
