Reports on the 7 June 2004 launch in Adelaide of a national website developed by The National Council of Single Mothers and Their Children (NCSMC) and The Australian Coalition of Women Against Violence. Funded by the Office of the Status of Women, the website seeks to provide information for women and workers assisting women escaping abuse and violence. This web-based resource provides links to national and state-wide domestic violence crisis services, legal services and women’s and children’s welfare agencies. It also contains downloadable information on online safety, safety plans and the legal system, and provides links to articles and research papers on various topics concerning domestic violence and its impact on children. Includes information specifically for rural women, women with disabilities and women from non-English speaking backgrounds.en
