dc.description.notes | This article presents the findings from a Canadian study that examined knowledge translation and exchange of research findings with policymakers, health and community service providers, and women's advocates related to screening women for intimate partner violence. The authors designed a project to share information from their research with policymakers and service providers and including a longitudinal evaluation component using surveys, focus groups and interviews. The findings address knowledge uptake, sharing, use and impact as well as the outcomes from the project. In the discussion, the authors propose a model based on talk, trust and time as form on engaging with stakeholders about research projects, finding and implications. The conclusion discusses limitations and recommendations for future research. | en |
