Outlines the methodology and findings of a study conducted in North Carolina, USA, aimed at assessing the long-term effects of the Safe Dates Program and a subsequent ‘booster’ programme, on levels of dating violence perpetration and victimisation. The results suggest the programme was effective in reducing levels of perpetration/victimisation for particular groups of participants but that the ‘booster’ had little impact on programme effectiveness. Limitations of the study and directions for future research are also identified.en
