dc.description.notesThis article examines the effectiveness of criminal justice responses to domestic violence by reviewing the literature and discussing several studies conducted in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) soliciting feedback from victims of domestic violence after revisions to the criminal justice system were implemented through the Family Violence Intervention Program. In particular, the author discusses client satisfaction and safety, victim's perspectives on process and outcomes, perceived and actual control among victims, victim versus justice objectives, and predicting future intentions.en
