dc.description.notes | This article presents examples of interventions targeting the individual, family and community levels in order to address the emotional wellbeing of the Indigenous communities in Queensland. Each intervention is considered within a holistic framework with each supporting the other. Interventions targeting individuals are likely to be more effective if they are coordinated and supported by the community. Interventions to improve a sense of community and cultural identity need a commitment from individuals and families. The significance of integrating interventions at the individual, family and community level is explained through the use of the RAP (Resourceful Adolescent Parent Program) for Indigenous families, including its process, development and implementation through consultation, coordination and partnership. | en |
