In response to Pilger and Watts' correspondence on the relationship between intimate partner violence (IPV), intimate partner homicide and world regions of their occurrence, Stockl and Devries concur with their findings; that in most regions, women who experience intimate partner violence are more likely to be victims of intimate partner homicide.<br/ ><br/ >Stockl and Devries suggest that this conclusion strengthens the argument for increased measures to reduce IPV.
