Notes:  This article presents the findings from a study which used quantitative analysis to examine the effectiveness of social learning theory to explain the predictors of stalking perpetration and victimisation. Using a sample of 2 783 university students in the US, the authors examined patterns among stalking behaviours for both perpetrators and victims. The conceptual theory and interpretation of the findings are discussed in the context of how stalking is related to intimate partner violence. The findings provide statistical support for commonly defined stalking patterns.
