The use of clear standard and large print, audiotapes, documents in Braille, TTY and SMS messaging and formats accessible to people with learning disabilities are amongst some of the suggestions made in the article. The importance of services' promoting alternative formats and the production of alternative format statements indicating a service's willingness to provide information in alternative formats is also discussed.en
