The authors draw on interviews with 17 asylum advocates, a survey of DIAC staff and an interview with an asylum seeker. The authors provide a detailed background and review of the literature as an introduction to the issue. The research specifically examined barriers in and recommendations for the emergence of asylum claims and the assessment process. | en |
