Notes:	This article presents the findings from the MOSAIC study conducted in Melbourne. MOSAIC was a cluster randomised trial which tested the effectiveness of an intervention to increase safety and wellbeing of culturally and linguistically diverse women who were pregnant or recent mothers and either experiencing or at risk of experiencing intimate partner violence. The intervention involved informal support provided through home visits by local mothers. Findings from the study indicate that women who received informal mentorship were likely to have less experience of partner violence. Other outcomes, such as depression and physical and mental wellbeing appeared to not be affected by the intervention.
