Notes:	Restoring Aboriginal communities affected by violence is a long term process which requires a holistic approach. Using the Canadian model of circle healing, especially for child sexual abuse cases, this article discusses how this may be applied in the Australian context. The authors also consider current justice initiatives in Australia, such as domestic violence and Aboriginal specialist courts, suggesting that embedding healing programs and processes in the criminal justice system will assist in redressing some of the perceived previous injustices and trauma inflicted on Aboriginal Australians.
