The aim of the video is to raise young people’s consciousness about the negative impact of violence and alternative choices that can be made. Vignettes are used to promote discussion of these issues. Throughout the process of producing the video, young people and the wider community found it easier to focus on violence than defining non-violence. The author raises questions about whether society has become so conditioned to violence that we find it difficult to consider what non-violence would be like. She expresses the hope that in future we will look beyond what we do not want and start focusing on what we do want. | en |
