dc.description.notesThis brief item outlines the priorities which the Statewide Steering Committee to Reduce Family Violence (SSCRFV) has set itself for the 12-month period from August 2002. The Committee was established by Chief Commissioner Christine Nixon and is a joint project of the Victoria Police and the Victorian Office of Women’s Policy. A description is included of the three projects which the Committee will undertake to implement their action plan. Also included in the article is a list of the Terms of Reference for the review of the Crimes (Family Violence) Act 1987 which the Law Reform Commission will undertake in 2003. Mention is also made of the Women’s Safety Strategy launch.en
