The findings suggest some of the key differences between urban and rural women's experience of violence include education levels, social support, history of the abusive relationship and the incidence of exposure to child abuse. Some of the difficulties in accessing rural women are discussed and further research into the service, health and welfare needs of rural women is suggested. | en |
