dc.description.notesGeneral Overview:This paper describes Project Support, the randomised clinical trial designed to reduce behaviour problems among children exposed to intimate partner violence. The [US] project involved thirty families for the intervention group and thirty for the control group. All were recruited through six domestic violence shelters in both urban and suburban locations.<br/ ><br/ >Results showed that children in the intervention group achieved greater reductions in behaviour problems and mothers in the intervention group achieved greater reductions in poor parenting behaviours and in mental health problems.en
