This brief article describes the Ruah Safe at Home (SAH) program, one of the six SAH programs in Western Australia funded by the National Partnership Agreement on Homelessness (NPAH). Ruah SAH provides case management for clients who are experiencing domestic and family violence who wish to remain in their own homes.<br/ ><br/ >Intensive support is provided to clients for a period of three to six months; security and safety assessments are conducted at the outset. Case worker responsibility extends to accompanying clients to court hearings, organising counselling for the family and supporting education and employment.<br/ ><br/ >This model of service is proving to be cost-effective in comparison to the refuge as the primary support for clients experiencing domestic violence.en
