The authors propose an LGB affirmative programing model which includes the following four components:<br/ ><br/ >This paper also includes a summary of the history of the women’s movement and historical social changes, an analysis of the prevalence of same-sex IPV, and a discussion of harmful myths that may create barriers to help-seeking by survivors of IPV.
