Notes: | This article reports findings from a study in Israel of 100 physicians and nurses regarding their attitudes and practices in screening women for domestic violence, along with a telephone questionnaire to 100 random selected female patients. Findings indicate that despite legal mandates to and patient desire for screening, healthcare providers were reluctant to conduct screening. |
