Notes:	"The National Abuse Free Contact Campaign is a national (and international) coalition of organisations created to advocate for women and children involved with the Family Court system who are at risk of domestic violence and/or child abuse.” The National Abuse Free Contact Campaign expresses concerns about a number of issues they see as problematic in their response to the Federal Government’s proposed family law and child contact reform package. These include: ? that the Contact Orders Program may pressure parents who have experienced domestic violence to put up with continued abuse for the sake of the children and, in fact, assumes that children will benefit from contact with an abusing parent; ? that an amendment to provide for contact with grandparents has the potential to increase a child’s exposure to abuse; and, ? that changes to enforcement provisions in the Family Law Act can result in a child’s increased exposure to abuse.
