These include: the trends; the relationship between the victim and perpetrator; injuries to women in sexual assault; state and territory comparisons; victims’ access to support services; criminal justice system outcomes; outcomes of investigations for victims of sexual assault; defendants in higher criminal courts in sexual assault cases; women’s fear of violence; the economical, social and health costs of violence against women; at-risk groups (children, pregnant women, rural women, young women, Indigenous women, migrant women, women with disabilities); and international crime victim and violence against women surveys.
