The first contains personal accounts of domestic violence. These accounts cover financial control, social isolation, psychological and emotional abuse, health impacts, the impact on children and barriers to safety. In the second section, health workers discuss their experiences of identifying and responding to domestic violence. Topics include screening, supporting victims, safety assessment and planning, child protection, advocacy, and information and referral.<br/ ><br/ >The third section focuses on Aboriginal family violence and includes the voices of women who have experienced violence, community members and workers. The fourth section dramatises routine screening.
