dc.description.notes | Please see 'Kinks and Bends: What’s the go with relationships?' on our Good Practice database.<br/ >Paper presented at the Home Truths national conference in Melbourne 2004. It describes two strategies designed and implemented by the NSW Strategy to Reduce Violence Against Women to reduce the incidence of date rape to young people. Young people aged 15-19 years have been identified as the group at highest risk of sexual assault. The programme “Kinks and Bends – what’s the go with relationships?” is an educational package which has been implemented on the NSW Central Coast. An independent evaluation was published in 2004. The Negotiating Consent resources and About Date Rape website have been developed to challenge beliefs, values and behaviour of young people around the use of sexual violence and to provide strategies to young people in negotiating respectful relationships. | en |
