This project consists of utilising artistic tools to aid in the healing process for women who have experienced domestic violence and other violent crimes. The paper describes the content of the flexible workshops, which begin by establishing the goals of the participants. Buddhist meditation is practised to generate compassion and kinship. Similarly, relaxation and creative techniques are taught to deal with negative feelings. The artwork produced in the workshops is exhibited as a means of women reclaiming power.en
