Notes:  The National Center on Family Homelessness (US) published this ‘toolkit’ in an attempt to bridge the gap between the domestic violence (DV) and homelessness service systems in the US.

The publication is informed by a literature review that explores the nature and extent of the problem, a national survey, and interviews with stakeholders, including people from across the US who have experienced DV and homelessness, policy advisers and researchers.

The publication is structured around three key themes for improving collaboration between DV and homeless systems: awareness and understanding; communication and coordination; and collaboration. It presents practical strategies for service providers to improve service integration.
