Notes:	Produced by the National Association of Services Against Sexual Violence in consultation with over 80 services working against sexual violence across Australia, this manual provides practitioners with guidelines and standards for service delivery in a range of settings. The standards are divided into six key areas: access and equity, including accessibility and cultural appropriateness of services; direct service delivery, including individual rights of service users and guidelines for crisis and counseling support; community education and professional training; programme planning and evaluation, including allocation of resources and effective monitoring of service delivery; standards and techniques for social advocacy and reform; and service management, including effective organisational structures, staff support and training procedures. A rationale for each key principle is suggested and potential indicators of services meeting the various standards are provided.
