This fact sheet by the United States National Coalition Against Domestic Violence lists key statistics in the US from recent research on domestic violence and the military, that is, domestic violence in military families and communities. It is more difficult for victims involved with the military to report abuse because of the geographical isolation and their concern that a report will put the job of the duty personnel involved at risk.
