Notes:	This Australian article gives an overview of the ways that technology can be used to provide more effective and efficient services to families, children and young people, and the organisations that support them. The authors define technology as it is addressed in this paper, including Web 2.0, social networking sites, mobile devices, apps, podcasts and webinars. The paper provides five case studies to illustrate the way various organisations have creatively used technology to achieve improved outcomes, at individual and systemic levels. The case studies discuss the implementation of an interactive website, e-counselling and online e-counselling and online mental health interventions, remote access solutions, applications (apps), and individually designed solutions for online family dispute resolution. The paper concludes with take-home messages and suggestions for future practice directions.
