Notes: | This article reports the findings from a study which evaluated the impacts of a domestic violence screening program in the emergency department of Flinders Medical Centre in South Australia. The study involved surveying medical and nursing staff as well as auditing case files for screening and referral. Results indicated increased referrals to social work services domestic violence and positive responses from staff regarding screening practices, along with identification of aspects to improve the screening program. |
