Notes:  Provides an overview of the implementation and evaluation of the Expect Respect Project, an educational intervention undertaken in Austin, Texas, USA, aimed at addressing the incidence of bullying and sexual harassment in schools, and improving student and teacher awareness of these issues. A review of research into peer victimisation and its impact on children is conducted and a description of the project is presented. Suggests the findings of the evaluation indicate support for the project as an effective way of teaching staff and students to respond to and prevent inappropriate behaviour.
