Notes: | This article presents the US study that looked at barriers to identification and referral of domestic violence victims by staff at a health care institution after a 3-hour domestic violence training programme in which 752 health care providers participated. Focus groups were done with staff in hospital departments to identify system-wide and individual hospital department barriers. |
