Notes: | Using data from a national survey on female abuse in Canadian college/university dating relationships, this article explores the subjective and objective basis of womens fear of violence, crime and abuse. Investigates theoretical issues, subjective and objective explanations, method, measures and results of the survey. Discussion concludes that women who have been victims of sexual and psychological abuse perpetrated by dating partners are more fearful in their homes. |
