Notes:	This article looks at women from minority groups and their often troubled, relationship with the service system. It identifies four main areas within social services that need addressing if minority groups are going to be sufficiently provided for. These being language, embodiment of violence in our service system and responses, poverty, and housing stock. It concludes by suggesting, that it is attitudes towards minority groups that must change before major changes can occur within policy and the service system
