Part of the project focuses on ways of ensuring women and children are able to remain in the family home following domestic violence. Argues that the Women’s Safety Strategy is unique in that it supports a ‘whole-of-government’ response to violence against women and outlines the various ways in which the agencies and departments involved will coordinate their efforts to achieve this. States the priorities of the strategy, including the provision of opportunities for community consultation and feedback.
