| Notes: | In 1999 the Centre for Gender-Related Violence Studies at the University of New South Wales School of Social Work successfully tendered to establish and operate this Clearinghouse, which is funded by the federal government under the Partherships Against Domestic Violence initiative. The Clearinghouse is a national information resource on the issues of domestic and family violence. Lesley Laing, the Director of the Clearinghouse, writes about the initiatives being undertaken and how the Clearinghouse can be of use to those working in the area of family violence. |
