Notes:  Article reports on the Domestic Violence and Incest Resource Centre’s new website, Bursting the Bubble (www.burstingthebubble.com.) which was developed for young people living in violent or abusive home environments. Created in response to statistics which show that nearly one quarter of Australian teenagers are witness to domestic violence at home, Bursting the Bubble seeks to educate young people about the forms abuse may take, gives instructions on devising a safety plan, explains where to get help and offers suggestions on helping a friend who may be experiencing violence. The site is interactive and includes quizzes, checklists, personal stories and a feedback form. A booklet and poster were developed from the website and launched as part of the Victorian Week Without Violence campaign in October 2003.
