Notes:	Article covers the launch of the discussion paper Valuing South Australia’s Women : Towards a Women’s Safety Strategy for South Australia:on March 13, 2004 and an accompanying Supporting Documentation:paper. Paper resulted from consultations with over 300 workers and community members in February 2004 and puts forward four areas for discussion: prevention of violence against women, provision of services to those in need, protection for women experiencing domestic violence and performance monitoring and evaluation of the Women’s Safety Strategy. A set of guiding principles which will form the basis of the final strategy is listed and website locations to download both papers are provided.
