Notes:  This article reports on a UK study of people who either identified as heterosexual or lesbian, gay, bisexual or queer. It looks specifically at 67 of the study participants and examines their experiences of relationships that did not work. The authors focus on how public stories and practices of love contribute to the struggle of domestic violence victims to recognise and define their experiences as domestic violence, specifically in the context of same-sex relationships.
