Notes:  These five demands are directed to all political parties standing in the 2003 NSW state election to guarantee the rights of migrant and refugee women in NSW. The first demand calls for access to all settlement services and assistance. Community education programmes to end Muslim discrimination and cross-cultural training of magistrates and the police are also requested. The fourth demand focuses on English language training and employment assistance. Finally, the last demand asks for more funds for services working with migrant and refugee women.
