Notes:	* Adolescent violence in the home is a form of family violence, frequently resulting from children’s experience of family violence and manifesting as the perpetration of violence against parents and other family members when they reach adolescence. * There is merit in adapting current Australian approaches to adult family violence to address adolescent violence in the home through a coordinated community response involving police, youth justice and community services. * One model, Step UP, used across the United States is discussed. This model shows promising results in supporting adolescent violence behaviour change and increasing victim safety.
