Drawing on risk assessment tools used in cases of spousal abuse and stalking, the authors developed the PATRIARCH tool which utilises 15 risk factors as a checklist. The authors examined 56 cases in which the tool has been used discussing demographics of the victims and perpetrators as well as risk factors.
