She elaborates on points arising from the tour including Manjoo’s observations of worldwide violence against women, research undertaken by Susan Rees and others on the link between violence and mental health, and work being done to incorporate protection from workplace consequences of gender-based violence into Commonwealth anti-discrimination legislation. |
