Notes: | Nunga Mi:Minar incorporated is the only Aboriginal specific women and children's service in South Australia, providing cluster and transitional independent living, out-reach crisis care supports, health care and well being service for Aboriginal women and their children experiencing family violence. The organisation is based upon Indigenous culture that allows service provision to be conducted in ways which are most appropriate and acceptable to the group. This paper seeks to explore why Nunga Mi:Minar is a leader in the field of family violence service delivery for Aboriginal women. |
